Hormone, sexual and reproductive health products span saw palmetto for prostate support, fertility formulas, menopause support and testosterone boosters. It is also the category with the most FDA warnings about products containing undeclared drugs, which makes a complete, specific label worth more here than anywhere else.

Every product is scored 0–100 from its label data in the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database: dosage transparency (35 points - are amounts stated per ingredient, or hidden in a proprietary blend?), label completeness (25), formulation cleanliness (25 - fillers, dyes, titanium dioxide and other non-active ingredients) and ingredient profile (15). The Top 10 admits only products scoring 60 or higher; among those, products with a verified retail listing are shown first so the list is one you can act on. No brand can pay to be included or moved up.
Doses are ingredient-specific and mostly come from small studies: saw palmetto 320 mg, DIM 100–200 mg, myo-inositol 2–4 g per day. Thyroid formulas with iodine should state the amount; the NIH upper limit for iodine is 1,100 mcg per day.
Adults who want a specific, clearly labeled product and plan to discuss hormonal symptoms with a clinician.
Sexual-enhancement and bodybuilding products marketed with drug-like claims: the FDA has repeatedly found undeclared prescription drugs in this group. Avoid proprietary blends, and talk to a clinician before using anything for thyroid or fertility.
Many herbal ones are low-risk at labeled doses, but the FDA has found prescription drugs hidden in some "male enhancement" products. A fully disclosed label from an established brand lowers that risk; our score rewards disclosure.
No. Our ranking judges how well a label is written, not whether a product treats any condition.

The score is based on data from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database, not marketing claims.
No. The SupplementScore measures label quality, how transparent, clean, and well-documented a product is. It does not measure clinical efficacy, bioavailability, or third-party testing. A higher score means better label practices, not guaranteed results.
